}Expand description
A single request/response access-log entry.
Captured for every network event a protocol server handles: the request is
the structured event data, the response is the action JSON the LLM (or a
script/static handler) produced. Used by the list_access_logs /
get_access_log MCP tools for debugging.
Fields§
§id: u64Monotonic entry id (assigned in arrival order)
unix_ms: u64Unix time in milliseconds when the entry was recorded
server_id: Option<u32>Server that handled the request (absent on client-side entries).
Serialization skips None, so pre-existing server entries keep their
exact JSON shape for MCP consumers.
client_id: Option<u32>Client that produced/handled the event (absent on server-side entries)
protocol: StringProtocol name (e.g. “http”, “dns”)
connection_id: Option<u32>Connection the request arrived on, if the protocol is connection-oriented
event_type: StringEvent type id (e.g. “http_request”)
request: ValueThe request: structured event data
response: Vec<Value>The response: action JSON produced for this request.
Server entries record actions as executed (failures appear as
FAILED: <action> envelopes). Client entries record the actions the
handler/LLM produced — execution happens later inside the client’s
connection loop, which does not report back here.

fn fg(&self, value: Color) -> Painted<&T>
Returns a styled value derived from self with the foreground set to

This method should be used rarely. Instead, prefer to use color-specific
builder methods like red() and
green(), which have the same functionality but are
pithier.
§Example

fn attr(&self, value: Attribute) -> Painted<&T>
Enables the styling Attribute value.
This method should be used rarely. Instead, prefer to use
attribute-specific builder methods like bold() and
underline(), which have the same functionality
but are pithier.
§Example

pithier.
§Example
Enable wrapping using .quirk():

The clear() method will be removed in a future release.
Source§fn whenever(&self, value: Condition) -> Painted<&T>
fn whenever(&self, value: Condition) -> Painted<&T>
Conditionally enable styling based on whether the Condition value
applies. Replaces any previous condition.
See the crate level docs for more details.
§Example
Enable styling painted only when both stdout and stderr are TTYs:
