Everything the nine declared startup parameters resolve to.
Every field here is read by the engine. startup_param_drift_test fails the build on a
parameter that is declared and read nowhere, and this struct is where “read” happens.
Fields§
§interface_name: Option<String>Requested interface name; the platform may hand back a different one.
mode: LinkModeLayer 3 (TUN) or layer 2 (TAP).
address: StringLocal address for the interface.
netmask: StringNetmask for that address.
mtu: u16Interface MTU.
filter: PacketFilterGate 1: which packets become events at all.
escalation: LlmEscalationGate 3, part one: may an unhandled packet reach the model?
llm_max_per_minute: u32Gate 3, part two: how often, at most.
packet_information: PacketInformationHow to read the platform’s per-packet prefix.
Implementations§
Source§impl TunTapConfig
impl TunTapConfig
Sourcepub fn from_params(params: &Option<StartupParams>) -> Result<Self>
pub fn from_params(params: &Option<StartupParams>) -> Result<Self>
Resolve the declared startup parameters.
Every error is propagated with ? — StartupParams accessors return
Result<_, StartupParamError> precisely so an undeclared key or a wrong-typed value
produces a clean error naming the key instead of killing the task that is starting the
server.
Sourcepub fn escalation_summary(&self) -> String
pub fn escalation_summary(&self) -> String
One line describing how much of the traffic will ever be looked at.

fn fg(&self, value: Color) -> Painted<&T>
Returns a styled value derived from self with the foreground set to
value.
This method should be used rarely. Instead, prefer to use color-specific
builder methods like red() and
green(), which have the same functionality but are
pithier.
§Example
Set foreground color to white using fg():

fn attr(&self, value: Attribute) -> Painted<&T>
Enables the styling Attribute value.
This method should be used rarely. Instead, prefer to use
attribute-specific builder methods like bold() and
underline(), which have the same functionality
but are pithier.
§Example
Make text bold using attr():

pithier.
§Example
Enable wrapping using .quirk():

👎Deprecated since 1.0.1: renamed to resetting() due to conflicts with Vec::clear().

Source§fn whenever(&self, value: Condition) -> Painted<&T>
fn whenever(&self, value: Condition) -> Painted<&T>
Conditionally enable styling based on whether the Condition value
applies. Replaces any previous condition.
See the crate level docs for more details.
§Example
Enable styling painted only when both stdout and stderr are TTYs:

painted.red().on_yellow().whenever(Condition::STDOUTERR_ARE_TTY);Source§impl<T> Pipe for Twhere
