ONC RPC portmapper / rpcbind server on TCP and UDP (the same port). Rust decodes every call and answers the RPC-level errors, NULL and GETTIME; the model answers lookups and dumps with mappings and decides registrations.
Modules§
- actions
- What the model decides as a portmapper: which programs are registered where (it answers every lookup and dump with mappings) and which registrations to accept. Rust owns XDR, record marking, the RPC error replies, NULL and GETTIME, and picks from the model’s mappings the ones each procedure returns.
- wire
- ONC RPC (RFC 5531) and the portmapper/rpcbind programs (RFC 1833), shared by both roles: XDR, call and reply messages, TCP record marking, and the PMAP v2 / RPCBIND v3-v4 argument and result bodies. Every length the peer announces is bounded before use.
Constants§
- IDLE_
TIMEOUT - A TCP connection that sends no complete call for this long is closed.
- MAX_
UDP_ IN_ FLIGHT - UDP calls answered at once; past it, datagrams wait in the socket buffer.
