pub struct Message {
pub class: u8,
pub msg_type: u8,
pub parameters: Vec<Parameter>,
}Expand description
A whole M3UA message: class, type and its parameters in wire order.
Fields§
§class: u8§msg_type: u8§parameters: Vec<Parameter>Implementations§
Source§impl Message
impl Message
pub fn new(class: u8, msg_type: u8) -> Self
pub fn with(self, parameter: Parameter) -> Self
Sourcepub fn with_opt_u32(self, tag: u16, value: Option<u32>) -> Self
pub fn with_opt_u32(self, tag: u16, value: Option<u32>) -> Self
Append parameter only when value is present. Every optional parameter in this file
goes through here, so “omitted” and “present but zero” stay distinguishable.
pub fn with_opt(self, tag: u16, value: Option<Vec<u8>>) -> Self
Sourcepub fn encode(&self) -> Result<Vec<u8>, WireError>
pub fn encode(&self) -> Result<Vec<u8>, WireError>
Encode to the wire. The Message Length includes the common header and every parameter’s padding.
Refuses anything parse_header would reject, which is the asymmetry this whole class
of finding is named after: MAX_MESSAGE_LEN bounded the decode side, against a
hostile peer, and nothing bounded the encode side, against the model. A message
whose parameters ran past the ceiling encoded happily and was then rejected by this
codec’s own parser at the far end.
Sourcepub fn parse(full: &[u8]) -> Result<Message, WireError>
pub fn parse(full: &[u8]) -> Result<Message, WireError>
Decode a complete message: the common header followed by exactly length - 8 body
octets. full must be the declared length, which is what mod.rs’s reader supplies.
pub fn param(&self, tag: u16) -> Option<&Parameter>
pub fn param_u32(&self, tag: u16) -> Option<u32>
pub fn name(&self) -> &'static str

Returns a styled value derived from self with the foreground set to

This method should be used rarely. Instead, prefer to use color-specific
builder methods like red() and
green(), which have the same functionality but are
pithier.
§Example

fn attr(&self, value: Attribute) -> Painted<&T>
Enables the styling Attribute value.
This method should be used rarely. Instead, prefer to use
attribute-specific builder methods like bold() and
underline(), which have the same functionality
but are pithier.
§Example
Make text bold using attr():

wrap(), which have the same functionality but are
pithier.
§Example
Enable wrapping using .quirk():

The clear() method will be removed in a future release.
Source§fn whenever(&self, value: Condition) -> Painted<&T>
fn whenever(&self, value: Condition) -> Painted<&T>
Conditionally enable styling based on whether the Condition value
applies. Replaces any previous condition.
See the crate level docs for more details.
§Example
Enable styling painted only when both stdout and stderr are TTYs:
use yansi::{Paint, Condition};
painted.red().on_yellow().whenever(Condition::STDOUTERR_ARE_TTY);Source§impl<T> Pipe for Twhere
