pub struct EventHandler { /* private fields */ }Expand description
Event handler that coordinates all event processing
Implementations§
Source§impl EventHandler
impl EventHandler
Sourcepub fn new(state: AppState, llm: OllamaClient) -> Self
pub fn new(state: AppState, llm: OllamaClient) -> Self
Create a new event handler
Sourcepub async fn list_models(&self) -> Result<Vec<String>>
pub async fn list_models(&self) -> Result<Vec<String>>
List available models from Ollama
Sourcepub fn get_llm_client(&self) -> OllamaClient
pub fn get_llm_client(&self) -> OllamaClient
Get a clone of the Ollama client
Sourcepub fn set_llm_client(&mut self, client: OllamaClient)
pub fn set_llm_client(&mut self, client: OllamaClient)
Replace the LLM client (used by /backend command to switch backends at runtime)
Sourcepub async fn handle_event(
&mut self,
event: AppEvent,
ui: &mut App,
) -> Result<bool>
pub async fn handle_event( &mut self, event: AppEvent, ui: &mut App, ) -> Result<bool>
Handle an application event Returns Ok(true) if the application should quit
Sourcepub async fn handle_interpret_with_actions(
&mut self,
input: String,
status_tx: UnboundedSender<String>,
protocol: Option<Box<dyn Server + Send>>,
) -> Result<()>
pub async fn handle_interpret_with_actions( &mut self, input: String, status_tx: UnboundedSender<String>, protocol: Option<Box<dyn Server + Send>>, ) -> Result<()>
Handle interpret command using NEW action-based system with multi-turn tool support This method can be spawned in a task without blocking the UI
Sourcepub async fn execute_server_management_action(
&mut self,
action: CommonAction,
status_tx: &UnboundedSender<String>,
) -> Result<(), ActionExecutionError>
pub async fn execute_server_management_action( &mut self, action: CommonAction, status_tx: &UnboundedSender<String>, ) -> Result<(), ActionExecutionError>
Execute server management actions (open_server, close_server, etc.)
Public so tests/ can drive the real open_server / open_client executor —
including log_open_server_summary, which used to panic on a multi-byte
instruction — rather than re-implementing it. See the test-location policy in
CLAUDE.md: tests reach internals through netget:: public APIs.
Sourcepub fn parse_event_handlers(
handlers_json: Vec<Value>,
) -> Result<EventHandlerConfig>
pub fn parse_event_handlers( handlers_json: Vec<Value>, ) -> Result<EventHandlerConfig>
Parse event handlers from JSON array into EventHandlerConfig
Static handlers are validated here rather than at the first packet:
- every action name must exist in the action catalog of the protocol(s) that
declare an event matching the handler’s
event_pattern(see [action_catalog_for_pattern]), and - every
{{event.…}}reference must be well formed ([EventHandlerType::validate]).
Both used to fail silently at dispatch time — the peer got the protocol default,
no error reached the caller, and the access log recorded the action as though it
had run. Reporting them here means start_server / open_server rejects the
configuration outright.

Source§fn fg(&self, value: Color) -> Painted<&T>
fn fg(&self, value: Color) -> Painted<&T>
Returns a styled value derived from self with the foreground set to
value.
This method should be used rarely. Instead, prefer to use color-specific
builder methods like red() and
green(), which have the same functionality but are
pithier.
§Example
Set foreground color to white using fg():
use yansi::{Paint, Color};

fn bg(&self, value: Color) -> Painted<&T>
Returns a styled value derived from self with the background set to

This method should be used rarely. Instead, prefer to use color-specific
builder methods like on_red() and
on_green(), which have the same functionality but
are pithier.
§Example
Set background color to red using fg():
use yansi::{Paint, Color};
painted.bg(Color::Red);Set background color to red using on_red().

Source§fn attr(&self, value: Attribute) -> Painted<&T>
fn attr(&self, value: Attribute) -> Painted<&T>
Enables the styling Attribute value.
This method should be used rarely. Instead, prefer to use
attribute-specific builder methods like bold() and
underline(), which have the same functionality
but are pithier.
§Example
Make text bold using attr():
use yansi::{Paint, Attribute};
painted.attr(Attribute::Bold);Make text bold using using bold().
use yansi::Paint;
painted.bold();Source§fn rapid_blink(&self) -> Painted<&T>
fn rapid_blink(&self) -> Painted<&T>
Source§fn quirk(&self, value: Quirk) -> Painted<&T>
fn quirk(&self, value: Quirk) -> Painted<&T>
Enables the yansi Quirk value.
This method should be used rarely. Instead, prefer to use quirk-specific
builder methods like mask() and
wrap(), which have the same functionality but are
pithier.
§Example
Enable wrapping using .quirk():
use yansi::{Paint, Quirk};
painted.quirk(Quirk::Wrap);Enable wrapping using wrap().
use yansi::Paint;
painted.wrap();Source§fn clear(&self) -> Painted<&T>
👎Deprecated since 1.0.1: renamed to resetting() due to conflicts with Vec::clear().
The clear() method will be removed in a future release.
fn clear(&self) -> Painted<&T>
renamed to resetting() due to conflicts with Vec::clear().
The clear() method will be removed in a future release.
Source§fn whenever(&self, value: Condition) -> Painted<&T>
fn whenever(&self, value: Condition) -> Painted<&T>
Conditionally enable styling based on whether the Condition value
applies. Replaces any previous condition.
See the crate level docs for more details.
§Example
Enable styling painted only when both stdout and stderr are TTYs:
use yansi::{Paint, Condition};
painted.red().on_yellow().whenever(Condition::STDOUTERR_ARE_TTY);Source§impl<T> Pipe for Twhere
