The management “form”: everything a caller can specify about a server instance. Optional fields mean “unspecified” — on create an unspecified field falls back to its protocol default, on update an unspecified field is left unchanged.
This is the struct both create and update consume, so the two paths can never drift apart on which fields exist.
Fields§
§protocol: StringProtocol name (e.g. “http”, “tcp”, “dns”). Required to create; on update it is immutable — supplying a different protocol is an error.
port: Option<u16>Port to bind (socket protocols). Some(0) asks the OS to assign one.
host: Option<String>Host/IP to bind (socket protocols). Defaults to the protocol default.
interface: Option<String>Interface to bind (layer-2 / raw protocols such as arp, datalink, icmp).
mac_address: Option<String>Source MAC (layer-2 protocols), only meaningful with interface.
send_first: boolSpeak first on connect (FTP/SMTP-style greeting). Only honoured by
protocols that declare a send_first startup parameter.
instruction: Option<String>Natural-language LLM instruction (the fallback handling path).
initial_memory: Option<String>Seed the instance’s LLM memory.
startup_params: Option<Value>Protocol-specific startup parameters (validated against the schema).
event_handlers: Option<Vec<Value>>Deterministic event handlers (script / static / llm), matched in order.
scheduled_tasks: Option<Vec<ServerTaskDefinition>>Scheduled LLM tasks scoped to this server.
feedback_instructions: Option<String>Instructions for the automatic feedback loop.

fn fg(&self, value: Color) -> Painted<&T>
Returns a styled value derived from self with the foreground set to

This method should be used rarely. Instead, prefer to use color-specific
builder methods like red() and
green(), which have the same functionality but are
pithier.
§Example

Enables the styling Attribute value.
This method should be used rarely. Instead, prefer to use
attribute-specific builder methods like bold() and
underline(), which have the same functionality
but are pithier.
§Example

pithier.
§Example
Enable wrapping using .quirk():

The clear() method will be removed in a future release.
Source§fn whenever(&self, value: Condition) -> Painted<&T>
fn whenever(&self, value: Condition) -> Painted<&T>
Conditionally enable styling based on whether the Condition value
applies. Replaces any previous condition.
See the crate level docs for more details.
§Example
Enable styling painted only when both stdout and stderr are TTYs:

painted.red().on_yellow().whenever(Condition::STDOUTERR_ARE_TTY);Source§impl<T> Pipe for Twhere
