Enum TlsEvent

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub enum TlsEvent<'i> { NeedInput, Transmit, HandshakeComplete, Data(&'i [u8]), OutputFull, PeerClosed, Closed, }
Expand description

The next thing the driver does after a step.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

NeedInput

Read more ciphertext, append it after the unconsumed bytes, call step again.

§

Transmit

Send the written bytes at the start of output, all of them.

§

HandshakeComplete

The handshake finished; info() is now Some.

§

Data(&'i [u8])

Plaintext decrypted in place; call step again for more.

§

OutputFull

Not enough room in output; flush and call again.

§

PeerClosed

close_notify was received.

§

Closed

Both directions are closed.
