Error type for send operations in network clients.

Variants

Closed

The client has been closed or is disconnecting.

Timeout

Timed out waiting for the client to become active.

WriteTimeout

Timed out while writing to the transport, so delivery is undetermined.

Unlike SendError::Timeout, which reports that a send never started, the write was cancelled after it began: the peer may or may not have received the message. Callers must not treat this as a plain retry.

ConnectionChanged

The connection changed before an ownership-bound message reached the writer.

BrokenPipe(String)

Failed to send because the writer channel is closed.
