Holds the OTLP provider handles alive for the process lifetime.

Bind the return value of init_from_env to a variable in main() — dropping it immediately (e.g. let _ = init_from_env();) shuts the providers down before anything is exported. Drop flushes the last batch of spans/metrics before the process exits.
