pub enum Delivery {
Cli,
Mcp,
Both,
}Expand description
Which door an install opens onto the graph.
A session reaches the same store either way; what differs is what it costs
to get there. An MCP tool’s schema is fetched before its first call, so the
first question costs a discovery round trip; a plain command through Bash
costs none, at the price of the assistant having to know the invocation —
which is exactly what the skill teaches.
Only the Claude Code install honours this: it is the one platform that gets
a skill, and a skill is the only thing that can teach a binary. Cursor and
Codex are registered as MCP servers whatever is asked for, and
[install_platform] says so rather than dropping the flag in silence.
Variants§
Cli
The skill teaches the binary; no MCP server is registered.
Mcp
Today’s install: an MCP entry, and a skill that teaches its tools.
Both
Both doors, and a skill that names both.
