Global MUR configuration (~/.mur/config.yaml)

Fields§

§embedding: EmbeddingConfig§llm: LlmConfig§models: ModelSwitchConfig§retrieval: RetrievalConfig§paths: PathConfig§server: ServerConfig§community: CommunityConfig§conversations: ConversationsConfig§sync: SyncConfig§storage: StorageConfig§sources_global: SourcesGlobalConfig§sleep_cycle: SleepCycleConfig§skills: SkillsConfig§skill_llm: SkillLlmConfig§cross_agent: CrossAgentConfig§nudge: NudgeConfig§mobile_relay: MobileRelayConfig§session: SessionCfg§harvest: HarvestCfg§cc_proxy: CcProxyConfig§cli: CliConfig§parallel_jobs: ParallelJobsConfig§federation_snapshot: SnapshotConfig

Memory-federation snapshot settings (federation_snapshot:).

§memory: MemoryConfig

Proactive memory capture (memory:, federation P2).

§fleet_run: FleetRunConfig§git_push: GitPushConfig§open_items: OpenItemsConfig§fleet: FleetConfig§update: UpdateConfig

mur update post-upgrade behavior (update:, issue #866).

§runs: RunsConfig

Job/fleet/workflow run-status heartbeat tuning (runs:).

§capture: CaptureConfig

Capture-queue rotation (capture:).

§limits: Limits

Global execution limits (limits:), the outermost scope of spec 2026-09-12 §3.1. Written textually by mur limits --global, never by load-modify-save (that drops blocks other binaries own).

§notifications: NotificationsConfig

Durable-monitor notification channels (notifications:). Absent means log-only: desktop is opt-in.

§monitor_resolver: MonitorResolverConfig

AgentResolver (monitor_resolver:), spec §混合處置策略 step 3. Absent means off — see MonitorResolverConfig.

§triage: TriageConfig

Pre-dispatch triage (triage:). Absent means shadow mode: triage runs and records, and never stops a dispatch.

§attribution: AttributionConfig

MUR’s credit line on work an agent publishes (attribution:).

§scratch: ScratchConfig

Per-agent scratch dir retention and doctor threshold (scratch:).

§turn_track: TurnTrackConfig

Per-turn copy-on-write track tuning (turn_track:).

§search: SearchConfig

Code-search tool bounds (search:), e.g. search.ast_grep.

Implementations§

Source§

impl Config

Source

pub fn load_or_default(path: &Path) -> Self

Read from disk, falling back to defaults. Legacy conversation model fields are migrated in memory only — this is called from agent runtime processes (mur-agent-runtime), which must never write the user’s config file.

Source

pub fn try_load(path: &Path) -> Result<Self, String>

Like Config::load_or_default, but a file that is present and does not parse is an error rather than silently the defaults. For a reader that already holds a good copy and must not trade it for defaults (the agent runtime’s hot reload). An absent file is still the defaults.
