The bounded class of a successfully encoded or decoded control message.

Counters include prefixes inside a complete codec value, but exclude separately coded selectors and raw payload writes. A framed IETF body counts after its framing decodes, before request validation. Shared reply IDs use Self::Other.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
