pub enum ConfigForm {
List,
Get,
Set,
Unset,
RenameSection,
RemoveSection,
Edit,
Legacy,
}Expand description
What:
The form cmd_config dispatches to (builtin/config.c:1633-1660).
An enum is a
closed set of named alternatives.
Why:
Legacy is the form without a subcommand word,
where actions are options such as
--list and --get.
In TS you’d write (pseudocode):
type ConfigForm = 'list' | 'get' | 'set' | 'unset' | 'rename-section' | 'remove-section' | 'edit' | 'legacy';Variants§
List
git config list.
Get
git config get.
Set
git config set.
Unset
git config unset.
RenameSection
git config rename-section.
RemoveSection
git config remove-section.
Edit
git config edit.
Legacy
No subcommand word: the action is an option or implied by the argument count.
