What:
Normalises the post-commit argument region, keeping the pathspec tail verbatim.
Why:
Later transforms recognize separated values only, and the pathspec tail after -- must not change.
In TS you’d write (pseudocode):
normaliseCommitArgs(['-amhello', 'file.ts']); // ['-a', '-m', 'hello', 'file.ts']
