pub enum PassResult {
Stable,
Proposed,
Failed,
}Expand description
What:
What one whole policy pass over the current state ended in.
An enum is a closed
set of named alternatives.
#[derive(...)] asks the compiler to generate copying,
debug printing and ==.
Why:
Only a pass that proposes corrections continues the loop.
In TS you’d write (pseudocode):
type PassResult = 'stable' | 'proposed' | 'failed';Variants§
Stable
No policy proposed a correction: the findings of this pass are final.
Proposed
At least one policy proposed a correction.
Failed
The pass ended in an engine failure.
