What: The evidence of one attempt. Why: IndexLockEvidence; the holder scan is skipped once the PID file proves a live owner.

In TS you’d write (pseudocode):

lock_path: PathBuf

Lock path.

lock: LockMetadata

Lock identity and change time.

pid_file: PidFile

PID file evidence.

holders: Option<HolderEvidence>

Open-holder scan, absent when the PID file proved a live owner.
