One child of a split (or the replacement of a merge): bounds plus the on-node TabletLayout plus the initial (learner) replica set.

The partition the child owns.

layout: TabletLayout

The child’s on-node directory layout.

replicas: Vec<ReplicaDescriptor>

The initial replica set (created as learners).
