Configuration for the tracing subscriber.

Embedded in the top-level modo::Config as the tracing section:

tracing:
  level: info
  format: pretty   # "pretty" | "json" | compact (any other value)

All fields have sane defaults so the entire section can be omitted.

Fields (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive structs could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive structs cannot be constructed in external crates using the traditional Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.

level: String

Minimum log level when RUST_LOG is not set.

Accepts any valid tracing_subscriber::EnvFilter directive such as "info", "debug", or "myapp=debug,modo=info". Defaults to "info".

format: String

Output format: "pretty", "json", or compact (any other value).

Defaults to "pretty".
