Kafka fault-injection rule. See KafkaConfig::faults.

Fields

topic: String

Topic name to target. Required.

partition: Option<i32>

Specific partition to target. When omitted, the rule fires for any partition of the topic.

kind: KafkaFaultKind

Which failure mode to inject.

delay_ms: Option<u64>

Delay (in milliseconds) for produce_throttle. Ignored by other kinds. Defaults to 0.

probability: Option<f64>

Stochastic firing probability in 0.0..=1.0. None or 1.0 = every request matching this rule fires the fault. 0.0 = never.
