RecallResponse

Struct RecallResponse

Source
pub struct RecallResponse {
    pub hits: Vec<RecallResult>,
    pub truncated: bool,
    pub used_exact_scan: bool,
}
Expand description

Phase 12.8 budgeted-recall envelope returned by Mnemo::recall_budgeted. Wraps the Vec<RecallResult> the legacy Mnemo::recall returns so callers can tell whether RecallRequest::max_bytes cut anything.

Fields§

§hits: Vec<RecallResult>

Scored hits, best first, truncated to at most top_k and then to fit the max_bytes budget if set.

§truncated: bool

true iff the max_bytes budget dropped at least one hit that would otherwise have been returned (i.e. the result is shorter than what top_k alone would produce).

§used_exact_scan: bool

Phase 12.1 + 12.6 observability: true iff recall fell through to an exact scan (ANN shortlist too narrow after filtering, and the widen pass also came up short, so the index was skipped for one full-corpus pass). Monitoring on this flag is how callers detect selective-filter regressions or supersession chains outgrowing the ANN shortlist.
