MlxVectorString

Struct MlxVectorString

Source
pub struct MlxVectorString(/* private fields */);
Expand description

Owned MLX vector of strings; elements are borrowed from the vector for each read and copied into Rust memory.

Implementations§

Source§

impl MlxVectorString

Source

pub fn empty() -> Self

Creates an empty vector handle.

Source

pub fn from_strings(values: &[&str]) -> Result<Self, MlxCError>

Creates an owned vector holding copies of the provided strings.

Source

pub fn set(&mut self, source: &Self) -> Result<(), MlxCError>

Copies the source vector handle into this handle.

Source

pub fn set_strings(&mut self, values: &[&str]) -> Result<(), MlxCError>

Replaces the vector contents with copies of the provided strings.

Source

pub fn set_one(&mut self, value: &str) -> Result<(), MlxCError>

Replaces the vector contents with one copied string.

Source

pub fn append_one(&mut self, value: &str) -> Result<(), MlxCError>

Appends one copied string.

Source

pub fn len(&self) -> usize

The number of strings in the vector.

Source

pub fn is_empty(&self) -> bool

Whether the vector holds no strings.

Source

pub fn string_at(&self, element_index: usize) -> Result<String, MlxCError>

Copies the string at element_index out of the vector.

The C API loans the text from the vector’s storage, so the copy happens while the vector is alive and this call holds the borrow.

fn pin_drop(self: Pin<&mut Self>)

🔬This is a nightly-only experimental API. (pin_ergonomics)
Execute the destructor for this type, but different to Drop::drop, it requires self to be pinned. Read more
