Verification phase 2, before any stored-epoch read (SPEC-HTTP-OBJECTS §6): audience, repository and target equal the request’s byte for byte, now < expiry, and expiry - issued <= ttl_ms — the configured lifetime, which may be shorter than the statement grammar’s MAX_TTL_MS bound.
