The result of walking and verifying a path from a commit’s tree_hash down to a leaf.

Fields

tree_hash: Hash

The commit’s (or remix’s) root tree id.

path: Vec<(Vec<u8>, EntryMode)>

The authenticated path, root first: each entry’s (name, mode) — never a caller-claimed path string. Callers compare this against what they requested; this module never trusts a claimed path.

leaf_id: Hash

The id of the object at the end of the path (tree_hash itself when path is empty).

signer: [u8; 32]

The commit/remix’s embedded Ed25519 public key.

signature_valid: bool

Whether the commit/remix’s embedded signature verifies against signer. Does not say anything about who signer belongs to — that is application policy (see the module docs).
