Network difficulty response

Fields§

§difficulty: u64

The block’s unadjusted target difficulty. This is the value that accumulates into the chain’s total difficulty.

§estimated_hash_rate: u64§height: u64§timestamp: u64§pow_algo: u64§sha3x_estimated_hash_rate: u64§monero_randomx_estimated_hash_rate: u64§tari_randomx_estimated_hash_rate: u64§cuckaroo_estimated_hash_rate: Option<UDecimalValue>§num_coinbases: u64§coinbase_extras: Vec<Vec<u8>>§adjusted_difficulty: Option<u64>

The historical target difficulty this block’s proof of work had to clear: difficulty with the TIP-RFC-MT-0004 same-algorithm backoff applied (up to 32x for a run of consecutive blocks of the same PoW algorithm). It is recomputed under this node’s consensus rules and equals difficulty where no backoff applies. It is not the requirement for the next block; use GetNewBlockTemplate’s miner_data.target_difficulty for that. Absent on nodes that predate this field.
