UpdateMicrovmImageVersionRequest’s one body member.

imageIdentifier and imageVersion are both URI parameters, so the body is a single key. That is the whole request, and it is the model’s only non-destructive retire primitive: setting a version INACTIVE makes RunMicrovm refuse to launch it while existing VMs keep running and the version stays readable through GetMicrovmImageVersion. DeleteMicrovmImageVersion is the alternative and it is irreversible.

status is a VersionStatus rather than a String, unlike the HookState members above. The difference is that this enum is the entire request: a typo in it is a ValidationException on the only field there is, spent on a call that was going to change a version’s availability. MicrovmImageVersionStatus has exactly two values and naming them in the type means a caller cannot spell either wrong.
