RebuildWorker

Struct RebuildWorker

Source
pub struct RebuildWorker { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Owns a rebuild thread. Keep this handle alive for the server’s lifetime.

Shutdown discards pending ticks and waits for the active rebuild, including any subprocesses it waits on. Dropping the handle also shuts down the worker.

Implementations§

Source§

impl RebuildWorker

Source

pub fn sender(&self) -> TickSender

Clone the sender used by a watcher to enqueue changed paths.

Source

pub fn shutdown(self) -> Result<()>

Stop accepting rebuild work and wait for the active rebuild to finish.

Existing sender clones do not prevent shutdown.

§Errors

Returns an error if the rebuild thread panicked.
