Expand description

The kind of an MF2 error: the 13 error types of the WG test suite (test/README.md, “Error Codes”) plus Unsupported Operation and the umbrella Message Function Error of spec/errors.md.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

Syntax = 0

Syntax Error (syntax-error): the source is not well-formed.

§

VariantKeyMismatch = 1

Variant Key Mismatch (variant-key-mismatch).

§

MissingFallbackVariant = 2

Missing Fallback Variant (missing-fallback-variant).

§

MissingSelectorAnnotation = 3

Missing Selector Annotation (missing-selector-annotation).

§

DuplicateDeclaration = 4

Duplicate Declaration (duplicate-declaration).

§

DuplicateOptionName = 5

Duplicate Option Name (duplicate-option-name).

§

DuplicateVariant = 6

Duplicate Variant (duplicate-variant).

§

UnresolvedVariable = 7

Unresolved Variable (unresolved-variable).

§

UnknownFunction = 8

Unknown Function (unknown-function).

§

BadSelector = 9

Bad Selector (bad-selector).

§

BadOperand = 10

Bad Operand (bad-operand).

§

BadOption = 11

Bad Option (bad-option).

§

BadVariantKey = 12

Bad Variant Key (bad-variant-key).

§

UnsupportedOperation = 13

Unsupported Operation — not in the suite’s schema; used for an operation a configuration does not provide (e.g. a locale-dependent numeric option without the fn-number feature).

§

MessageFunctionError = 14

Any other Message Function Error — the spec’s umbrella category, not in the suite’s schema.
