pub enum ContradictionPolicy {
Supersede,
Flag,
}Expand description
What write inference does when it finds that a new memory contradicts an older one (a value update on the same sentence frame, or an LLM verdict that one memory replaces the other).
Variants§
Supersede
Close the losing memory: set its valid_until, record a Supersedes edge and decay its confidence, so recall serves only the winner.
Flag
Hint mode: keep both memories valid and record a Contradicts edge between them, so the caller can surface the conflict and decide. Under this policy recall keeps serving both sides of a Contradicts edge. Memories stored with the explicit Correction type still supersede, because the caller already made that decision.
