pub enum AnchorGrain {
Span,
File,
Tree,
Url,
Entity,
}Expand description
The granularity of the artifact reference an anchor carries.
span / file / tree select within a path-shaped namespace; url
selects a web resource; entity selects another mem’s entity. The
medium-capability matrix (crate::binding::medium_capabilities)
decides which grains a given medium’s namespace can support — a
mismatch (e.g. span on a url-namespace medium) refuses typed at
validation.

Implementations§
Source§impl AnchorGrain
impl AnchorGrain
Sourcepub const WIRE_VALUES: &'static [&'static str]
pub const WIRE_VALUES: &'static [&'static str]
Every wire string, in declaration order.
Sourcepub fn from_wire(s: &str) -> Option<Self>
pub fn from_wire(s: &str) -> Option<Self>
Inverse of Self::as_wire; None for an unknown string.
Sourcepub fn supported_by_namespace(&self, anchor_namespace: &str) -> bool
pub fn supported_by_namespace(&self, anchor_namespace: &str) -> bool
Whether this grain can be expressed in the medium’s declared anchor
namespace (the anchor_namespace string from the E2 capability
matrix: path / path+commit / entity / url).
span/file/treerequire a path-shaped namespace (pathorpath+commit);urlrequires theurlnamespace;entityrequires theentitynamespace.
