[mcp] section — settings the MCP binary reads at boot. Carried on WorkspaceSettings so the MCP server sources its tuning from Engine::settings() instead of a parallel TOML parse.

Fields

token_budget: Option<usize>

Per-response chunking budget in tokens. None → caller falls back to the compile-time DEFAULT_TOKEN_BUDGET.

disabled_tools: Option<Vec<String>>

Blocklist of tool names. Entries matching a compiled-in tool are hidden from tools/list and rejected with TOOL_DISABLED on direct invocation. Unknown entries log a warning and drop from the effective set. Empty / absent → every compiled-in tool is advertised.
