One file’s stat signature: integer-millisecond mtime and byte size.

mtime is rounded to whole milliseconds so the value is stable across JSON round-trips (mirroring the plugin’s Math.round(st.mtimeMs)), and size guards against mtime-preserving content writes (cp -p, tar extraction) that leave the timestamp untouched.
