pub async fn send( endpoint: &RemoteEndpoint, request: &ControlRequest, timeout: Duration, ) -> Result<ControlResponse, RemoteMobError>

Send request to endpoint, await one response, and return it.

Opens a fresh connection per request — control RPC frequency is low (one message per wire/unwire/inject call) and lazy-reconnect keeps the implementation simple. Phase 3 (post-this-PR) can pool connections if profiling shows it matters.
