the machine-owned current_session_llm_identity
(SessionLlmIdentity.provider). This is the single owner of the
“which provider is this session on” fact at planning time — it is
hydrated at session construction and recommitted by the live
identity hot-swap transition, so consumers (e.g. the image
auto-planner) must read it instead of re-deriving a provider from
the effective model string through the built-in catalog (which
silently disagrees for ModelRegistry-owned custom models).
None means the machine has no hydrated session LLM identity yet
(pre-hydration); it is not a fallback signal to re-derive one.
