Receiver

Struct Receiver

Source
pub struct Receiver { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Positive receiver evidence, bound to the live mode and code bytes.

Implementations§

Source§

impl Receiver

Source

pub fn bind_prepared( &self, update: &PreparedUpdate, ) -> Result<PreparedUpdate, PrepareError>

Bind an already validated update to this receiver without decoding or repeating image integrity and installed-family analysis.

Source

pub fn prepare_without_installed( &self, envelope: &Envelope, live: &Identity, ) -> Result<PreparedUpdate, PrepareError>

Prepare with explicit unavailable installed-image evidence. The host owns consent; target integrity, chip and receiver gates remain mandatory.

Source

pub fn prepare( &self, envelope: &Envelope, installed: &InstalledFirmware, ) -> Result<PreparedUpdate, PrepareError>

Apply normal Flash image/hardware gates, then select wire encoding from the positively identified running receiver, regardless of input format. This does not perform I/O or waive the caller’s backup/consent policy.

Source§

impl Receiver

Source

pub fn from_firmware(envelope: &Envelope) -> Result<Self, Error<Infallible>>

Analyze a validated application image for a future stage. Execution must still bind its identity, banner and build metadata to the physical drive. A reference cannot be used to infer a BOOT receiver.

Source

pub fn provenance(&self) -> Provenance

Source of the cached instruction evidence.

Source

pub fn reference_sha256(&self) -> Option<&[u8; 32]>

Canonical image digest when the receiver uses explicit reference code.

Source§

impl Receiver

Source

pub fn application_analysis(&self) -> Option<&ApplicationAnalysis>

Cached application evidence from the same snapshot used by live entry detection. This is analysis, not a completed transfer authorization.

Source

pub fn mode(&self) -> Mode

Active receiver mode.

Source

pub fn encoding(&self) -> Encoding

Header-path classification retained for compatibility. Consult the prepared transfer plan for separate header/body wire encodings.

Source

pub fn prepare_command(&self) -> Option<Prepare>

PREPARE dialect from full live entry detection; encoding-only detection deliberately supplies no command.

Source

pub fn signature_address(&self) -> u32

Address of the matched receiver instructions.

Source

pub fn revalidate<T: Transport>(&self, t: &mut T) -> Result<(), Error<T::Error>>

Re-read identity and matched instructions immediately before writing.
