Configuration for database encryption using SQLCipher.

This struct holds the 32-byte (256-bit) encryption key used to encrypt/decrypt the SQLite database. The key should be generated using a cryptographically secure random number generator and stored securely (e.g., in the platform’s secure storage such as Keychain on iOS/macOS or Keystore on Android).

§Security

  • Never log or expose the encryption key
  • Store keys in platform-specific secure storage
  • Use a unique key per database
