Expand description

A delta-interval message for causal delivery

Contains: ⟨delta, from_seq, to_seq⟩

  • delta: The joined delta-group to apply
  • from_seq: Starting sequence number (exclusive)
  • to_seq: Ending sequence number (inclusive)

The receiver should only accept if from_seq == last_acked_from_this_sender

Fields§

§from: ReplicaId

The source replica that generated this interval

§to: ReplicaId

The destination replica

§delta: D

The joined delta-group

§from_seq: SeqNo

Sequence number just before this interval (exclusive lower bound)

§to_seq: SeqNo

Sequence number at the end of this interval (inclusive upper bound)
