Why a string is not a valid Digest. Hand-written rather than derived with thiserror, to keep this crate on serde alone.

Variants

Length(usize)

Wrong number of characters (a sha256 digest is exactly 64).

NotLowercaseHex

Contains something other than 0-9a-f — uppercase included, since a digest has exactly one spelling.
