Store inspection and garbage collection.
The store holds six trees: cas/v1 for content-addressed objects,
action-results/v1 for the results that reference them, task-manifests/v1
for the prediction index, checkouts/v1 for the checkouts that have built
each identity, build-receipts/v1 for exact completed build closures, and
sessions/v1 for per-build event streams. Only the first two are collected
for size; manifests and receipts are small, checkout records expire with
their checkout claims, and session streams are bounded by age and count
because they are history rather than cache content.
Structs§
- Export
Additions - Extra CAS roots carried by a cache export for a higher-level transport.
- GcOutcome
- Import
Outcome - A cache import together with named higher-level CAS roots it carried.
- Largest
Entry - Project
Usage - Remove
Project Outcome - Store
Stats - Transfer
Outcome - Verify
Outcome - Workspace
Target - One Cargo workspace and the target directory recorded for its build.
Enums§
- Export
Form - How an export is laid out on disk.
Functions§
- checkout_
is_ live - Whether a checkout is still on disk, corroborating absence through its immediate parent.
- checkout_
is_ live_ on - Whether the checkout a record names is still on disk.
- checkout_
workspace_ target - Return the target directory recorded for this checkout’s latest build.
- claim_
sweep - Claim a due sweep before doing work, including interrupted attempts.
- export_
checkout - Export the complete local cache closure of this checkout’s most recent build.
- export_
checkout_ as - Export one checkout’s closure in the requested form.
- export_
checkout_ with - Export one checkout’s closure together with higher-level CAS attachments.
- export_
group - Export the union of every completed build recorded under one CI group.
- export_
group_ as - Export a grouped closure in the requested form.
- export_
group_ with - Export a grouped closure together with higher-level CAS attachments.
- gc
- Evict objects until the store fits within
max_bytes. - gc_
dry_ run - Describe the collection
gcwould perform without changing the store. - gc_
dry_ run_ after_ stale - Describe what
gc_stale_compilersfollowed bygc_dry_runwould remove, counting nothing twice and measuring the budget after the stale pass. - gc_
stale_ compilers - Drop cached compilations for Rust compiler versions that have gone unused.
- group_
workspace_ targets - Return every Cargo target represented by the pending receipts in a group.
- import_
archive - Validate a cache export in isolation, then publish its objects and actions.
- import_
archive_ with_ attachments - Import a cache archive and return its named higher-level CAS roots.
- largest
- Return the largest blobs and action-result records in descending order.
- live_
project_ cache_ bytes - The reusable cache bytes of each live workspace, as
projectscounts them. - projects
- Attribute cache and target bytes to each recorded workspace.
- record_
build_ receipt - Record an exact completed build for checkout and grouped exports.
- record_
checkout - Record that
workspace_rootbuiltidentity. - record_
sweep - Record a finished sweep at the current time.
- remove_
project - Remove checkout claims belonging to exactly one workspace.
- same_
filesystem_ paths - Whether two existing paths sit on the same filesystem, so a rename can carry a directory from one to the other.
- stats
- Summarize what the store currently holds.
- sweep_
if_ due - Sweep the store if
intervalhas passed since the last attempt. - sweep_
is_ due - Whether the interval since the last recorded sweep has passed.
- verify
- Verify every addressable CAS object and action-result record.
