LinkCache

Struct LinkCache

Source
pub struct LinkCache { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Thread-safe cache for outbound links per page.

Used in server mode to cache links extracted during page renders, avoiding re-parsing when the links.json endpoint is requested.

Implementations§

Source§

impl LinkCache

Source

pub fn new(max_size_bytes: usize) -> Self

Creates a new cache with the specified maximum size in bytes.

Set max_size_bytes to 0 to disable caching.

Source

pub fn get(&self, url_path: &str) -> Option<Vec<OutboundLink>>

Retrieves cached outbound links for a page if present.

Source

pub fn insert(&self, url_path: String, links: Vec<OutboundLink>)

Inserts outbound links into the cache.

If the cache exceeds its size limit, oldest entries are evicted.

Source

pub fn invalidate_all(&self)

Invalidates all cached entries (e.g., after a file move rewrites outbound links across many pages). Clears the map and resets the tracked size so the cache doesn’t ratchet after a bulk change.
