pub struct DMatrixEntry {
pub source_cluster: usize,
pub field_cluster: usize,
pub diagonal: Array1<Complex64>,
}Expand description
D-matrix entry for a far cluster pair
The D-matrix for SLFMM is diagonal (same multipole index in source and field), so we store only the diagonal entries to save memory. This reduces storage from O(n²) to O(n) per cluster pair.
Fields§
§source_cluster: usizeSource cluster index
field_cluster: usizeField cluster index
diagonal: Array1<Complex64>Diagonal translation coefficients (length = num_sphere_points) The full D-matrix would be: D[p,q] = diagonal[p] if p == q, else 0
