Errors that can occur during font processing operations.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

FontNotFound(String)

The requested font ID was not found in the font catalog.

§

InvalidFontRangeStartEnd(u32, u32)

The font range start value is greater than the end value.

§

InvalidFontRangeStart(u32)

The font range start is not aligned to a 256-character boundary.

§

InvalidFontRangeEnd(u32)

The font range end is not aligned to a 256-character boundary.

§

InvalidFontRange(u32, u32)

The font range span is not exactly 256 characters.

§

FreeType(Error)

An error occurred in the FreeType font rendering library.

§

IoError(Error, PathBuf)

An I/O error occurred while accessing a font file or directory.

§

InvalidFontFilePath(PathBuf)

The specified path is not a valid font file (supports .ttf, .otf, .ttc).

§

NoFontFilesFound(PathBuf)

No font files were discovered in the specified directory.

§

MissingFamilyName(PathBuf)

A font file is missing required family name metadata.

§

PbfFontError(PbfFontError)

An error occurred during Protocol Buffer font processing.

§

ErrorSerializingProtobuf(DecodeError)

Failed to serialize font data to Protocol Buffer format.
