Expand description

The images Map::kitty_commands has sent to the terminal: their decoded size and the last frame that used each.

Terminals keep a limited amount of image memory, counted in decoded RGBA bytes (herdr: 64 MiB per pane; Ghostty: 320 MB) and evict on their own when it runs out, which can drop a tile still on screen that mapterm believes is loaded. So mapterm keeps under budget itself, freeing the least recently used images first.
