Enum ResponseOutcome

Source
pub enum ResponseOutcome {
    Done(HttpResponseDescriptor),
    Retry {
        after_ms: u64,
    },
    Failed {
        errcode: String,
        error: String,
    },
}
Expand description

What happened to a request after a shell fed its result back in via OutgoingQueue::on_response or OutgoingQueue::on_transport_error.

Variants§

§

Done(HttpResponseDescriptor)

A 2xx response. The pending record has already been deleted.

§

Retry

The request should be retried (unchanged) after after_ms milliseconds. The pending record is still tracked; this queue itself will not offer it again via OutgoingQueue::releasable until after_ms has elapsed (per the now_ms the caller supplies to that call).

Fields

§after_ms: u64

How long to wait before this request may be retried.

§

Failed

A non-retryable error response. The pending record has already been deleted; the caller maps errcode/error to its own user-facing failure state.

Fields

§errcode: String

The Matrix errcode (e.g. "M_FORBIDDEN"), or "M_UNKNOWN" if the body did not carry one.

§error: String

The Matrix error human-readable string, empty if absent.
