DNSSEC validation state of a DNS answer (RFC 4035 Section 4.3).

The built-in backends do not validate DNSSEC and always report DnssecStatus::Indeterminate. The other variants are available to DnsCache implementations that fill records from a validating resolver.

Variants

Secure = 0

The answer has a valid chain of trust to a trust anchor.

Insecure = 1

The answer is provably not signed.

Bogus = 2

The answer is signed but failed validation.

Indeterminate = 3

The validation state is unknown. This is the default.
