pub struct Dkim2Output<'x> { /* private fields */ }Expand description
Result of MessageAuthenticator::verify_dkim2
and MessageAuthenticator::verify_dkim2_provisionally.
Holds the overall Dkim2Result and, when the chain passes, one
ChainLink per signature. The links borrow from the verified
AuthenticatedMessage. A passing full
verification is the proof of validity that
Dkim2Signer requires to sign a message that
already carries DKIM2 header fields (§12).
Implementations§
Source§impl<'x> Dkim2Output<'x>
impl<'x> Dkim2Output<'x>
Sourcepub fn result(&self) -> &Dkim2Result
pub fn result(&self) -> &Dkim2Result
Returns the overall verification result.
Sourcepub fn verification(&self) -> Verification
pub fn verification(&self) -> Verification
Returns which checks were performed.
Sourcepub fn chain(&self) -> &[ChainLink<'x>]
pub fn chain(&self) -> &[ChainLink<'x>]
Returns the verified hops in ascending i= order. Empty unless
result is Dkim2Result::Pass; after a
provisional verification it holds only the most recent signature.
Sourcepub fn error(&self) -> Option<&Error>
pub fn error(&self) -> Option<&Error>
Returns the error carried by a Fail, PermError or TempError
result, or None for Pass and None.
Sourcepub fn feedback_requested(&self) -> bool
pub fn feedback_requested(&self) -> bool
Returns true if any signer in the verified chain requested feedback
with the feedback flag (§10.10).
Sourcepub fn feedback_domains(&self) -> impl Iterator<Item = &str>
pub fn feedback_domains(&self) -> impl Iterator<Item = &str>
Returns the signing domains (d=) of the signatures that set the
feedback flag, in ascending i= order.
Sourcepub fn feedback_relay(&self) -> Option<&str>
pub fn feedback_relay(&self) -> Option<&str>
Returns the signing domain of the most recent hop that set the
feedhere flag, or None if no hop did.
A privacy-conscious Forwarder sets feedhere so that feedback is
relayed through it instead of being sent directly to the requestor
(§10.10).
