DomainKey

Struct DomainKey

Source
pub struct DomainKey { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

A DKIM1 public key record (RFC 6376, Section 3.6.1).

Parsed from the TXT record at <selector>._domainkey.<domain> with TxtRecordParser::parse; the verifier fetches it for every signature. Holds the public key (p=, of type k=) and the t= flags.

Implementations§

Source§

impl DomainKey

Source

pub fn is_testing(&self) -> bool

Returns true when the record has t=y: the domain is testing DKIM and verifiers should not treat failures differently from unsigned mail (RFC 6376, Section 3.6.1).

Source

pub fn requires_strict_identity(&self) -> bool

Returns true when the record has t=s: the domain of the i= tag must equal d= exactly, not a subdomain of it (RFC 6376, Section 3.6.1).

Source

pub fn has_multiple_records(&self) -> bool

Returns true when the name held more than one TXT record. DKIM uses the first record that parses; DKIM2 treats this as an error (draft-ietf-dkim-dkim2-spec Section 14.5).

Trait Implementations§

Source§

impl From<DomainKey> for TxtRecord

Source§

fn from(v: DomainKey) -> Self

Converts to this type from the input type.
Source§

impl TxtRecordParser for DomainKey

Source§

fn parse(header: &[u8]) -> Result<Self>

Parses the contents of one TXT record, with its character strings already concatenated. Read more
Source§

fn parse_records(records: &[Vec<u8>]) -> Result<Self>

Parses the TXT records found at one name, each with its character strings already concatenated. The default implementation returns the first record that parse accepts, or the error of the last one. Read more
