pub enum DurabilityMode {
Full,
Batch,
None,
}Expand description
Durability mode controlling when WAL writes are fsynced to disk.
See [[architecture-storage-format#Durability Modes]].
Variants§
Full
fsync after every append(). Every acknowledged write survives a
crash. Highest write latency.
Batch
fsync on explicit sync() only (typically called during commit).
Default mode. Uncommitted writes may be lost on crash, but committed
data is always durable.
None
No explicit fsync — rely on OS writeback. Fastest. Suitable for
ephemeral or rebuildable indexes.
