The error type for errors that can occur during conversion to regular expressions. See try_to_regex for more information.

Variants

BalancedUsed

The input pattern includes a balanced pattern (eg. %b{}) which cannot be represented by regular expressions.

CaptureRefUsed

The input pattern includes a capture backreference (eg. %1), but allow_capture_refs was set to false.

FrontierUsed

The input pattern includes a frontier pattern (eg. %f[a-z]), but allow_lookaround was set to false.
