Variables are used to store configuration and secrets that can be used in CI/CD pipelines.

Fields

key: String

Variable name/key (alphanumeric and underscore only)

value: String

Variable value

variable_type: VariableType

Type of variable (env_var or file)

protected: bool

Whether the variable is protected (only available in protected branches/tags)

masked: bool

Whether the variable value should be masked in job logs

hidden: bool

Whether the variable value should be hidden in the UI

raw: bool

Whether to disable variable expansion

environment_scope: String

Environment scope for the variable (e.g., “production”, “*” for all)

description: Option<String>

Optional description of the variable
