SymbolKind

Enum SymbolKind

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub enum SymbolKind { Global, Local, Type, Block, Metadata, AttrGroup, }
Expand description

Top-level entity kind — distinguishes the namespaces tracked by the parser when it reports symbol errors. Mirrors the four ForwardRefVals / ForwardRefBlocks / ForwardRefMDNodes / NumberedTypes tables in LLParser.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

Global

@name — function or global variable.

§

Local

%name — function-local SSA value or argument.

§

Type

%name at the type position — named or numbered struct type.

§

Block

label %name — basic block.

§

Metadata

!name — metadata node.

§

AttrGroup

#name — attribute group.
